As a Project Manager at Franmarine, you’ll work closely with a dynamic team, led by the Operations Manager, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest client specifications. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the entire project lifecycle, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving continuous improvements in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Lifecycle Management: Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones are met and budgets stay on track across diverse industries.
* Client Relationship Management: Be the primary point of contact, providing proactive updates and building strong, lasting client relationships to ensure project success.
* Collaboration: Partner with the Operations Superintendent to align project goals with resources, priorities, and operational strategies.
* Reporting & Methodology: Implement project management techniques, deliver regular progress updates, and track performance metrics
* Procedure Development: Develop and refine project procedures to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Work closely with the Operations team to forecast costs, allocate resources, and manage project timelines effectively.
Skills & Experience:
* Degree or qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (graduates welcome!).
* Experience in project management, with exposure to related industries. Maritime or Defence experience is highly valued.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
* Strong MS Office skills (intermediate to advanced).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Flexible, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
* Willingness to travel as needed based on client/project requirements.
