The Role
We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our team of dynamic engineers and surveyors.
The position is responsible for assisting in the provision of efficient and accurate engineering designs, plan production and Quality Assurance specification services for municipal civil infrastructure projects.
The position reports to the Principle Design Engineer and will have the opportunity to gain valuable new skills and opportunities.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in Cad programs and be proficient in office-based programs, along with excellent communication and written skills.
You will have experience in Civil Design. Experience within a Local/State organisation would be favourable but not required.
Key Selection Criteria
* A tertiary degree in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
* Demonstrated competence in engineering design, with a bias to road and drainage design.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* High quality interpersonal and team working skills
* Competent operation of computer – aided design software (preferably Civilsite Engineering Software and Autocad)
* Competent operation of traffic management software Autoturn.
* Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values.
