Key Responsibilities
1. Set up and administer entity-level general ledgers for newly acquired subsidiaries.
2. Develop processes for month-end ledger close by collaborating with the Integration accounting team, the Transactions Services Manager, and corporate accounting team.
3. Deliver reconciliations for relevant controlled ledgers.
4. Support the development of expenditure forecasts for the acquired business.
5. Establish month-end close processes and checklists to enable future administration of the ledger by the corporate accounting team.
6. Setup and administer bank accounts for acquired subsidiaries in collaboration with the Treasury Manager.
7. Interim management of various ad-hoc tasks for acquired ledgers as required until the business is fully integrated into the group.
8. Cash flow management and forecasting for the acquired business in conjunction with the Treasury Manager.
9. Contribute to cross-business schedules to support acquisition accounting and intercompany cross-charges.
Your Qualifications and Experience
1. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
2. A Professional Accountant with a qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, or similar is highly desirable.
3. Previous experience in an IT or Software Company is also highly desirable.
This is a salaried position with a base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 AUD.
