About This Role
This position offers an opportunity to contribute towards lasting change by supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students in their pursuit of higher education.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and execute initiatives that engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, schools, and communities in enhancing aspirations and improving access to university.
* Lead engagement activities on-campus and through outreach to facilitate the delivery of a university's Indigenous Admissions Program.
* Collaborate with teams at a centre dedicated to Indigenous affairs to shape communication strategies and build relationships with stakeholders.
* Mentor a team of student ambassadors to ensure successful program delivery throughout the year.
Essential Requirements
* A relevant degree or equivalent experience, strong organisational and digital skills.
* Strong cultural knowledge and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Experience in educational outreach and a demonstrated commitment to educational equity and community-led change.
