As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to engage with community activities, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.
The program focuses on providing reliable and safe transport services to residents, accompanied by volunteers, for group activities. Volunteers also interact with clients through regular calls to introduce themselves, remind clients of scheduled activities, and facilitate effective communication with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of clients are maintained at all times
* Reporting concerns or incidents to the relevant authorities and completing necessary documentation
* Participating in volunteer orientation, meetings, reviews, and training sessions
Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including social outings, transporting clients, and assisting with daily tasks. These opportunities enable volunteers to form meaningful connections with clients and contribute to a stronger sense of community.
