About The Role
Managing a portfolio of motor claims including third party repairs/demands in a timely and cost-effective manner
Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained with internal and external customers while building a network of professional relationships
Managing a high call volume of calls
Ensure and Maintain knowledge of current legislation and how it impacts claims management
Ability to make liability decisions on all claims in line with the Australian Road Rules
Continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to report on claim progress, developments, and potential strategic opportunities to avoid escalations
Using your technical experience to thoroughly investigate and assess claims to ensure that appropriate strategies are being implemented and pursued
Active communication and negotiation with other insurers and parties, with a view to achieving the best possible outcome for all stakeholders involved
Adherence to Allianz Claims Management Processes, GICOP and all standards to minimise leakage and increased cost of claim
Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team
About You
Minimum of two years Insurance experience is mandatory
Sound knowledge of the Australian Road Rules
Experience in handling claims management processes and procedures across a variety of general insurance product lines gained in a complex, matrixed general insurance organisation
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making
Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information
A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
