Your new role: In this role, you will provide expert orthopaedic services while contributing to education, leadership and quality improvement within a collaborative public health environment by: * Delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic care, including consultative and procedural services * Providing clinical leadership and supervision to Registrars, Principal House Officers and Resident Medical Officers * Contributing to service improvement, audit, patient safety and research initiatives * Implementing and participating in teaching and educational activities across medical, nursing and allied health teams * Actively engaging in departmental meetings, case conferences and organisational committees * Supporting interprofessional models of care and fostering a culture of collaboration and respect * Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to quality and safety standards About you: You are a collaborative and values-driven Orthopaedic Specialist who brings clinical expertise and a strong commitment to teaching and quality care, demonstrated by: * Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA * Broad clinical expertise in orthopaedics, with foot and ankle surgery experience highly desirable * Proven ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior medical staff * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a multidisciplinary team focus * Commitment to continuous improvement, audit participation and professional development * A patient-centred approach that respects cultural diversity and promotes inclusive care Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
