Role Overview
About the Role
The Project Assistant supports the Operations team in delivering vessel service visits and day-to-day operations of the Service Centre. This role works closely with the operations team to gather project information and data, ensuring administrative functioning and quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain accurate systems and registers in line with project requirements.
* Provide administration support that fosters an environment of efficiency, accuracy, and order of priority.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports in line with Austal standards and project requirements.
* Assist Operations and Admin team with general administration duties.
Requirements
* Hold a Construction safety induction (white card), or the ability to obtain one.
* Working experience in an Administrative / Project Support role and/or Diploma in Business Office Administration.
* Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate positively and professionally.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks/projects.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Project management, processes, and planning.
