Our client **NJB Family Investments Pty Ltd**, is looking to employ **BAKERS & PASTRYCOOKS** in multiple positions at Rick's Artisan Pies and Sourdough & Van Wegen's Continental Bakery. NJB Family Investments Pty Ltd, Master bakers in all things pastry and bread, offers a range of Queensland's best options. They create and bake QLD's best range of pies, sourdough bread, pastries, and sandwiches, among others.
**Job tasks and responsibilities not limited to**:
- Mixing, preparing, weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of goods.
- Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings, etc., ensures the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
- Glazing buns and pastries and decorating cakes with cream and icing
- Craft artisan sourdoughs, gourmet pies, pastries, cakes, and tarts
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget for management.
- Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements.
- Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Keeping accurate records.
- Operating a variety of kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work even environment.
- Plan & prepare the production and schedule.
**To be considered for this role, you should**:
- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
- Qualified Baker/ Pastry Cook with 2-3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a team.
- Very good communication skills
**How to join the team**
**Salary**: $55,000.00 to $ 70,000.00 /year
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
