Bene Aged Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at the St Pauls Residential Facility on a casual basis. About Your Role
As a Lifestyle Assistant at St Pauls, you will design and deliver engaging individual and group activities to support residents' emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.
Your Responsibilities
* Planning and facilitating lifestyle programs based on individual needs
* Supporting new residents as they settle into the home
* Documenting participation and outcomes of lifestyle activities
* Advocating for residents and addressing any concerns or requests
* Maintaining compliance with aged care quality standards and policies
* Assisting with evaluation of residents' wellbeing and providing updates to nursing staff
* Contributing to safe, respectful, and enjoyable living environments
Essential
What You'll Bring
* National Police Certificate (current or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid Certificate
* Manual Handling training
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Understanding of aged care issues
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work respectfully in a diverse, team-based setting
* Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
Desirable
* Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential)
