As a Microsoft Managed Security Services Partner (MSSP), we design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade security platforms that help customers accelerate secure cloud adoption and achieve cyber resilience at scale.Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security architectures that meet Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) requirements
Role Overview
You will act as a trusted security advisor, designing and governing Azure and Microsoft Security solutions across cloud, identity, data, network, and workload security domains.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop security architecture solutions for control implementation and contribute to security architecture patterns
* Develop and maintain system security architecture artefacts (HLDs, SLDs, threat models, security patterns, data flows, trust boundaries).
* Perform gap assessments against ISM controls and produce remediation roadmaps.
* Collaborate with project architects, project managers, business analysts and technical teams to integrate security controls into solutions.
* Prepare documentation and reports for security accreditation and audits.
* Advise stakeholders on ISM compliance, security best practices, and emerging threats.
* Ensure alignment with enterprise reference architectures, security principles, and zero‑trust patterns.
* Support development of SSPs, SRAs, Risk Registers, and
SOPs required under ISM.
Technical Skills
* Deep understanding of ISM controls and Defence security frameworks.
* Expertise in security architecture, risk management, and threat modelling.
* Experience implementing ISM controls across cloud and hybrid platforms.
* Deep understanding of IRAP/DISP assessment methodology and accreditation workflows.
* Experience with security accreditation and compliance processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated experience in security architecture within Defence,
* Federal Government agencies or Defence Primes using ISM/PSPF
* Strong knowledge of the ISM and associated guidelines and processes
Certifications (Preferred)
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, SABSA, CISM).
