Principal Configuration Management Officer
As the Principal Configuration Management Officer, you'll lead the planning, control and maintenance of configuration items and baselines across the JP**** program.
You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate, consistent configuration information for both the current DHFCS and the new EDHFCS as it transitions into service.
You'll manage CM activities, coordinate change control forums, oversee technical documentation, and collaborate with engineering, logistics, procurement and program teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
Your leadership will support the CM/DM team and contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering lifecycle.

You bring strong technical capability in Configuration Management, with experience managing complex configuration structures, baselines and change processes.
You're confident making informed CM decisions, maintaining high data integrity, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and governance.
You're a collaborative leader who communicates clearly, mentors others and builds effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
You're committed to improving processes, sharing knowledge and driving efficient, sustainable CM practices that enhance capability and program outcomes.
Qualifications
Extensive relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
Track record of experience performing technical data management and configuration management.
Technical background, preferably in Defence or Defence Industry.
Understanding of Systems Engineering and how Configuration Management fits within Systems Engineering processes.
Solid understanding of Configuration Management and Data Management processes and procedures (ISO *****, EIA-649C).
Good understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, such as IFS, Teamcenter, or similar software).
