Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring freshness and quality
* Assist in menu planning and preparation of food items in accordance with established recipes
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
* Participate in food inventory management, including stocking and ordering supplies as needed
* Contribute to a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence
* Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance skills and menu offerings
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level positions
* Strong passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Willingness to take direction and be open to feedback from senior kitchen staff
* For more senior roles, previous experience in a similar role and a culinary qualification is advantageous
