The Team
We are building position‑sensitive, careful structural solutions that minimise natural resource use and meet zero‑carbon design criteria. Our Structures team has a long‑standing reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across a range of materials and building types.
The Role
Based in Melbourne, you’ll contribute to a diverse range of projects across Australia and Asia. Working alongside multidisciplinary colleagues, you’ll carry out analysis, modelling, and detailed design across a range of materials and building types, and work directly with Cundall’s leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your design, project management, and client‑facing skills while progressing toward Chartered or Professional Engineer registration.
The Skills
- Accredited BEng (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering, 2–4 years of experience in structural consultancy
- Proficient in structural design and analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, or SpaceGass
- Strong knowledge of Australian codes and approval processes and ability to produce efficient, creative solutions in steel, reinforced concrete and other materials
- Organised, commercially aware, and passionate about advancing both your own career and the success of Cundall’s growing Melbourne team
