Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to provide strategic, professional and clinical leadership across one of the ACT's most diverse and impactful health portfolios. Working in partnership with consumers, carers, community organisations and government stakeholders, MHJHADS delivers integrated services spanning prevention, treatment, recovery and harm minimisation across hospital, community and justice settings.
Reporting to the General Manager, MHJHADS, and working closely with the senior leadership team and the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery, this role leads the development and oversight of professional nursing standards, models of care, policy, system strategy and NSQHS compliance. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding consumer rights, strengthening service quality and outcomes, and representing MHJHADS in high-level internal and external forums.
This is a senior executive opportunity for an accomplished nursing leader who thrives in complexity, values collaboration and is committed to improving mental health, justice health and alcohol and drug services for the community. Participation in the CHS Executive on-call roster is required.
