Project Scheduler Role Overview
In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project planning and scheduling. Your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule Planning: Create and maintain accurate and efficient schedules that meet client and project requirements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with construction and operations teams to align activities and critical milestones.
* Risk Management: Identify schedule gaps and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
* Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure correct and timely delivery and execution.
* Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to project and senior leadership.
* Communication: Liaise with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as tertiary qualifications in a relevant construction field. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience in a similar role within the resources industry.
