The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Aboriginal Allied Health Professional to join our Darwin team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds to provide injury management and rehabilitation services. This role involves developing individualized rehabilitation/RTW plans, facilitating access to community resources, and promoting overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and return-to-work plans to support a range of Aboriginal and culturally diverse clients.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations and families.
Facilitate access to community resources and services.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Undertake relevant assessments to provide services to clients for work-related and non-work related injury support to local employers and Government organizations.

Candidate Requirements
Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organizations.
Strong communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence.
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, or Nursing.
Professional registration through APHRA, ESSA, ASORC, or AASW.
Open to candidates at various experience levels, from graduates to senior professionals.
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment national criminal check.
