A day in the life of a Technical Support Specialist includes:
* User Support: Providing first-level technical support for user queries and issues.
* Incident Management: Logging and tracking incidents using a ticketing system.
* Hardware & Software Maintenance: Installing and maintaining computers, peripherals and applications.
* Network Support: Assisting with network setup and troubleshooting.
* Remote Support: Resolving technical issues remotely via phone or email.
* New Equipment Deployment: Setting up workstations, laptops and mobile devices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or similar field.
* Experience in IT helpdesk or technical support role.
* Strong knowledge of network hardware and protocols.
* Proficient in Windows, macOS and common software.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
