We’ve brought together an amazing team of ecologists, dedicated to leading the way in the assessment of terrestrial and aquatic flora and fauna, navigating development pathways and influencing offset policy. Responsibilities
- Shape the strategic direction of our ecology solutions and biodiversity offset policy
- Support the development, implementation and tracking of the yearly planning and strategy for the Ecology team
- Guide the growth and development of the team members, coaching and mentoring to foster a collaborative, “one team” culture
- Lead recruitment for the Ecology team and represent EMM as an ambassador
- Build solid working relationships with state and Commonwealth regulators and contribute feedback to offset policy
- Collaborate with leaders who support your growth
- Work with offices across Australia and enjoy hybrid working with Melbourne office collaboration days
What you’ll bring
- Passion and drive with values-based leadership
- 8+ years of relevant postgraduate experience, preferably in ecological consultancy
- Leadership or coaching and mentoring experience
- Strategic thinking and business planning experience
- Experience in preparing Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports and/or Biodiversity Stewardship Site Assessment Reports
- Strong time management and prioritisation
- Superior project management and delivery skills
- Current/valid unrestricted VIC driver’s license
