Senior Finance Manager - Strategic Projects
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager – Strategic Project to play a critical role in delivering key transformation initiatives across the business. You will partner with cross‐functional teams to ensure finance considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle of strategic projects, with a clear understanding of financial, accounting, and control impacts.
Operating within major transformation and change programmes, you will provide senior finance expertise to ensure initiatives are delivered on time with accurate financial outcomes, robust processes, and strong control integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with key business functions to assess financial implications of strategic initiatives and embed finance requirements into program design and decision‐making.
* Represent Finance in cross‐functional forums, influencing stakeholders to incorporate finance priorities into product and business roadmaps.
* Lead finance activities across projects, coordinating workstreams, monitoring progress, managing risks, and ensuring milestones and go‐live objectives are achieved.
* Define and oversee testing strategies to validate financial processes, system integrations, and reporting outcomes before launch.
* Identify and mitigate financial reporting and control risks arising from change, ensuring robust accounting treatments, data integrity, and reconciliations.
* Maintain strong internal controls and ensure finance processes remain compliant, audit‐ready, and aligned with governance standards throughout implementation.
About You
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* Accounting qualification such as CPA or CA.
* Previous experience working in finance transformation or project management, ideally within finance‐related projects.
* FMCG and Big 4 consultancy firm experience highly regarded.
* Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, lead cross‐functional collaboration, and drive change initiatives.
* Strong analytical thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to solve complex business problems.
* Excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail, learning agility, and a results‐oriented mindset.
