As Coordinator Business Systems, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Customer & Information Services Team, leading a skilled group of Business Systems Analysts, GIS, Data and Integration professionals. You’ll oversee a contemporary software platform and spearhead key system upgrades and projects that directly support the City’s services and future growth.
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—from internal leaders and teams to consultants, vendors, government agencies, and the broader community—making this a role with real influence and visibility.
This position strikes a rewarding balance between people leadership and technical expertise, combining strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery as part of the Customer & Information Services Leadership Team.
What You’ll Bring

• A qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Proven leadership experience in a large, complex organisation
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-wide business planning and systems architecture
• Sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Advanced people leadership skills—motivating, coaching and guiding teams to success
• Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and public speaking)
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation and influencing capabilities
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills
• Advanced capability in leveraging information systems and technology
• Practical knowledge of workplace health and safety, including risk assessment and controls
