Principal Change Manager - Collaboration Recruitment
Our client is looking for a Change Manager who will be responsible for planning and implementing change management activities supporting the Governance, Risk and Compliance Project.
The Change Manager will work alongside the Project Team, business subject matter experts (SMEs), and extended stakeholders to plan and implement the change journey, leveraging the IT Portfolio’s Change Management Methodology.
Note: AU Citizens only due to security clearance; 3 days in office.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate and implement stakeholder engagement forums and working groups in partnership with the Project Manager. Manage stakeholder communications to keep the broader Business community informed. Support the Project Manager in creating and distributing project communication materials (newsletters, emails, ad-hoc presentations). Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and understanding. Build the SME/Change Agent network with a focus on change leadership capability and enablement. In partnership with the Project Business Analyst and Technical Risk Specialist, support efforts to facilitate business process re-engineering for the future state, including design and documentation of business processes that inform technical configuration within the new solution.
- Change Management Planning: Collaborate with the IT Portfolio Change Lead to align Change Plans with the Project Change Management Strategy. Assess impacts for each release with project team members, SMEs and impacted teams to identify changes for teams/roles across roles, processes, technology, leadership and culture/ways of working. Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan for each release.
- Change Management Delivery: Provide regular reporting and updates to the IT Portfolio Change Lead and Project Manager. Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes related to the GRC Business Management framework and the GRC solution implementation. Develop training programs with the GRC vendor and Project Team to support rollout; conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users. Provide ongoing post-implementation support, transitioning to the BAU team to maintain embedment of support methods.
Key Skills Required
- Experience in a business process re-engineering project.
- Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, tools, and their application.
- Experience in change management within medium to large-scale enterprises (manufacturing or engineering environments desired but not essential).
- Change management experience in business transformation enabled by a SaaS Enterprise Application (e.g., GRC, ERP, HRMS, PPM, or CRM).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to support business process change and produce artefacts for operational teams.
- Experience working within a project delivery lifecycle, particularly around enterprise software implementations.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at multiple levels, ensuring change impact is understood by different groups.
- Experience managing stakeholder engagement and tracking progress of the change journey.
- Experience with digital adoption tools.
