Who we are:
Technical Maintenance Support is an independently owned and operated progressive company based in Geraldton with branches in Perth and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
We conduct a wide variety of specialised services, mostly to fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara.
The Role :
We are currently seeking a reliable and hands on Trade Assistant to join our team to assist with manning and running the tool stores for shutdowns. This consists of inventory / stocktake recordings, booking in / out all tooling as per the current procedures, maintaining all tooling to a satisfactory standard, setting up, cleaning and packing away the tool stores at the start / end of the end of each shutdown.
Skills & Experience :
To be considered a suitable applicant you will require the following :-
* Valid Driver's licence.
* Tool store experience – checking tooling in and out as per the required procedure.
* Use of and basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
* Computer savvy (Excel Intermediate user).
* Current confined space within 2yr expiry.
* Current working at heights within 2yr expiry.
* White card.
* EWP ticket – desirable but not essential.
* Forklift ticket – desirable but not essential.
* Strong reliability, work ethic, and physical fitness.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
* Ability to work with others in a team environment.
* Current Police clearance.
* Commitment to work safely.
