Ora No. 1 Salon is seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdresser to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of hairdressing services while maintaining high standards of customer service and salon presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Confirm and manage daily bookings, including preparation of required products and service schedules
* Consult with clients to recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments
* Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, perming, styling, blow-drying, shampooing, and conditioning
* Advise clients on hair care products and ongoing hair maintenance
* Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work environment
* Liaise effectively with clients, team members, and management
* Follow workplace policies, procedures, and professional standards
* Support and collaborate with other team members as required
* Recommend additional salon services where appropriate
* Assist in training junior staff or apprentices
Requirements
* Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent), or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
* Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar role
* Robust communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
