About the Company:
This is a Food testing Laboratory located in inner suburbs of Melbourne, require the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a Sample Preparation Officer to join the team.
Due to internal movement, a position has become available on an initial 12 month contract with view to extend.
We require an enthusiastic and reliable candidate who is willing to go that extra mile.
Skills & Experience:
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Preparation of samples
* Assist with outsourcing tasks and maintaining records
* Troubleshoot problems at receipt
* Answering & responding to client calls/ emails and prioritising urgent jobs
* Distribute samples and paperwork as required
* Use of Microsoft Office (Excel, word, Outlook)
You will also need to possess the following attributes:
* Certificate or Diploma in Science or relevant laboratory work experience
* High attention to detail
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and word
* Experience in laboratory data entry using Sample Manager (LIMS a huge advantage)
* Well organised
* Excellent customer/client interpersonal skills.
