We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to patients and clients in our Community Mental Health Services.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical psychology services to and clinical leadership within the team, ensuring the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients and clients. This will involve providing quality consumer-focused, evidence-based psychological services to patients and carers, as well as contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience in working with families and individuals with complex mental health needs. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical psychology services to patients and clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to mental health services
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients and clients
* Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with AHPRA
* A postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters or Doctorate)
* Experience working with families and individuals with complex mental health needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
