**A bit about the role**
We're looking for a Quality Analyst to join our Engineering team based in Perth on a permanent, full-time basis. You will assist with quality assurance initiatives and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of value to our customers. You will use interaction, communication, and collaboration as a key means of creating shorter feedback loops with the team.
As a QA you'll be responsible for:
- Deliver quality products consistently to the agreed business value according to the definition of done.
- Work closely with product owners and the development team to define and refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Focus on defect prevention over defect detection by proactively participating in Scrum ceremonies to maximise value added, prior to test execution.
- Plan and prioritize tasks that could help deliver a shippable product at the end of the sprint.
- Execute tests using a mix of scripted and non-scripted (exploratory) testing.
- Accurately evaluate and report test progress, risk, and product quality.
- Work closely with testing peers to improve automated tool skills, agile testing practices, and supporting processes.
- Respond to change quickly, including keeping test artefacts up to date as the development and design evolves.

**We'd like you to have**
- Bachelor of Computer Science or similar.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing.
- Some Development work experience.
- 3+ years experience as a quality assurance/test analyst working in a commercial software development environment.
- Proficient in structured quality assurance approaches and techniques including test planning & analysis, functional and non-functional testing and exploratory testing.
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle principles and the software development life cycle including agile development methodologies such as Scrum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
