Our client is a reputable electrical business, specialising in a wide range of commercial, industrial and infrastruccture projects. With a strong presence in the industry and a reputation for delivering quality work, they’re now seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, close-knit team environment where your contributions are truly valued. The office is based in Keilor Park, and they are looking for someone to contribute to their ongoing success as they continue to grow.
THE ROLE:
As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing estimates for electrical projects, ensuring the smooth flow of work from initial planning to project completion. You’ll be responsible for reviewing project plans, creating cost estimates, and liaising with clients and subcontractors. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in estimating electrical projects is essential, and a solid electrical background (A Grade Electrician) is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing electrical plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotes and information
- Assisting with project planning and coordination to ensure projects run smoothly
- Supporting the senior estimators with project delivery as needed
- Managing client relationships and ensuring quality outcomes
EXPECTATIONS:
- A Grade Electrician qualification with solid electrical experience (essential)
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in estimating electrical projects (essential)
- Solid communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Proactive and keen to contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
