Previous experience within the disability or aged care sectors is desirable however the right personality set is equally as good.
No experience is welcome with the opportunity to complete a Cert 3 in Individual Support.
The successful applicant will have or be willing and able to obtain:
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
* Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
* Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive fun attitude
* Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
* Competent using technology – Smart Phone and Apps
* Availability to attend mandatory, paid training programmes
The successful applicant must:
* Demonstrate a positive, fun attitude;
* Show initiative and compassion for the wider community;
* Exhibit an ability to problem‐solve with individuals and follow policies and procedures at all times;
* Demonstrate an understanding of incident reporting, quality documentation, complaints handling, and restrictive practices;
* Be willing to work closely with families, advocates, professionals, volunteers and therapy staff;
* Possess a Queensland Drivers Licence
* Be available and understanding of the Agency's 24/7 service delivery, which may include evenings, nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.
