About the role
Jeeves Dry Cleaners is looking for a Dry Cleaner, Presser and/or laundry assistant. This role is a full-time position based in Lindfield, NSW and will see you playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Operate and maintain dry cleaning, laundry, and wet-cleaning equipment.
* Finish garments using steam-air finishing equipment or a conventional press.
* Conduct quality control checks for stain removal and pressing.
* Assist in packaging, assembling orders and customer service.
* Working as a team to meet or exceed client expectations.
What we're looking for
* Experience in a laundry or dry cleaning role is preferred. Further training & mentoring will be provided by management with 40 years industry experience. This can be an entry-level position with growth opportunities.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, Saturdays will be required.
