Overview
Chubb Fire & Security Australia is seeking a Portables Manager based in Melbourne, responsible for portables (e.g., fire extinguishers) operation across the city. This position will lead a dedicated field and workshop team and ensure collaborative working with different internal and external departments.

Key Responsibilities
* Build strong and lasting client relationships with Key Accounts, department managers, technicians, suppliers, admin and EHS staff.
* Ensure the team is motivated and trained to the latest and highest standards—especially regarding EHS, process improvement, and Standard Work to maximise field technicians\' performance.
* Ensure service is carried out to the highest customer service and technical standards.
* Drive strategies for business growth in conjunction with business development and engineering teams.
* Accurate budgeting, forecasting and reporting, with P/L responsibility for the portables business.
* Maintain a workforce that meets customer service needs of the business.
About You
* 5+ years in the fire industry (or similar), ideally in a supervisory or management role.
* Previous experience managing a team of field technicians and/or service professionals.
* Sales-focused with an eye for current opportunities for growth.
* A team builder who can identify skills gaps and implement training programs.
* Able to accurately produce and implement budgets, forecasts and reports, with a sound understanding of P/L.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
