Ipswich State High School is seeking a motivated and well-organised Teacher Aide to support the delivery of quality education within our Industrial Trade Department. Join a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality educational experiences for our students.
This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

The duties for this role will include supporting the students and teaching staff in the classroom in inclusive of the complexities of the Industrial equipment maintenance and preparation.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
* Material preparation - cut and prep of timber and metal products for lessons
* Maintaining industrial equipment, maintenance of records, ordering and stock take
* Changing band saw blades and Disc sander pads
* Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher
* Working with small groups as well as individual students
* Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member
* Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs
* Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families
