Seeking a skilled Therapeutic Youth Worker to provide trauma-informed care for young people in need. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a therapeutic, supportive team environment and make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people who have experienced adversity.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or equivalent, and be willing to obtain one if not already held. They will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe and secure environment for young people to thrive
* Support young people as they transition into and out of care
* Assist with achieving living skills and case plan goals
* Act as an advocate for young people
* Manage complex behaviours and difficult situations according to individual behaviour management plans
* Be available for shift work

Requirements:
* Current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment
