Responsibilities
* Ensure cleanliness of the facility and all equipment or furniture is maintained to a high standard at all times.
* Ensure all equipment is stored and used according to organisational guidelines.
* Manage emergency response procedures, including medical attention as required, and document in accordance with RVA accreditation guidelines, UnitingCare contracts and resident contracts.
* Ensure all emergency response is conducted in a timely manner in accordance with organisational standards.
* Respond to resident alarms, applying basic first aid as required and informing/engaging the appropriate authorities.
* Investigate and report on site maintenance issues to relevant staff.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in hospitality service delivery.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Demonstrated experience in responding to Workplace Health and Safety emergency procedures.
* Current first aid certificate and CPR certificate.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in retirement living, senior's housing or aligned sector is highly regarded.
