About the role
Black Rock Village Meats' is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team. This full-time role is based in Black Rock, VIC 3193 and will be responsible for preparing and cutting a variety of meats to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
* Skilfully butchering and preparing a range of meats including beef, pork, lamb and poultry
* Ensuring all products meet food safety and quality standards
* Providing exceptional customer service and offering product recommendations
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Assisting with inventory management and stock control
* Contributing to the overall success of the butchery
What we're looking for
* Several years of experience as a qualified Butcher
* Exceptional knife skills and meat cutting abilities
* Strong knowledge of meat types, cuts and preparation
* Commitment to food safety and quality
* Excellent customer service orientation
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Australian citizenship required for this position
* Minimum of 3+ years retail butchery experience required for qualified applicants
