The Role
We are seeking a Primary School Class Teacher with responsibility for Health and Physical Education (HPE) to join our faculty commencing immediately. This ongoing position may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, as negotiated.
In this role, you will:
* Lead a primary class as the Class Teacher, delivering an integrated Steiner curriculum aligned with the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework (ASCF)
* Plan and deliver engaging Health and Physical Education (HPE) lessons across allocated year levels
* Foster students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development in a nurturing classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support holistic student learning
* Participate in school festivals, camps, and community events that are central to Steiner education
What You Bring
* Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility prior to commencement)
* Classroom teaching experience in a primary school setting
* A genuine interest in or understanding of Steiner education
* Strong relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues
* A collaborative, reflective, and community-minded approach to teaching
Experience in Steiner education and familiarity with the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework (ASCF) will be highly regarded.
