About the Role:
* Drive store performance by leading from the front, coaching your team, and creating a positive customer-first culture.
As a Store Manager, you will be accountable for daily operations to ensure efficiency and high standards. You will drive results in sales, wages, and shrinkage targets. You will report directly to the Regional Manager and lead stocktake processes and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a team of 30+ staff members in a retail or big box environment.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve operational efficiency.
* Maintain a high level of visual merchandising standards and ensure excellent customer service.
* Manage stock levels, control inventory, and conduct regular stocktakes.
* Develop and implement plans to reduce shrinkage and improve profitability.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail or big box environment.
* Proven track record of driving results through effective leadership, sales, and operations.
* Strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
* Excellent computer and system skills, including proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
* First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Full-time availability, including weekends and public holidays.
