It enhances community safety and wellbeing through public policy, governance, legislative advice, reform and grants, bringing together all policy and reform functions aligned to the Police, Community Safety, Victims and Racing portfolios.The Office of the Deputy Secretary (ODS) plays a key role across CSVR to support the Deputy Secretary to lead and manage the division, including management of the office workflow, supporting changes and new initiatives, and managing portfolio responses and projects. The Senior Strategic Advisor is responsible for the management of the ODS, acting as an integral conduit between the Deputy Secretary and the division.About The Role The job operates within a dynamic environment that requires flexibility, the capacity to exercise sound judgement and the ability to take effective, timely action.
