Duties
In this role you will:
* Advise on complex commercial transactions, including share and business sales and acquisitions
* Provide practical, risk-focused commercial advice
* Lead and support procurement processes and tenders
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
* Advise on Australian Consumer Law matters, including consumer complaints and unfair terms
* Manage modern slavery compliance, statements, and risk assessments
Skills & experience
Ideally, you will have:
* 5+ PAE advising on complex commercial matters, with strong expertise in commercial contracting and Australian Consumer Law highly regarded
* Exceptional drafting and advisory skills, with a keen eye for detail
* A self-starter with a proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and support junior lawyers
* Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels
* Strategic thinker with well-developed commercial and critical analysis skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
