Eurofins Agroscience Australia/New Zealand is a leading provider of analytical services, regulatory consulting and technical support to the crop protection industry, seed businesses and veterinary medicine companies. Our technical activities involve conducting field and laboratory studies to determine the safety and efficacy of new agrochemicals, veterinary medicines/pharmaceuticals and crop varieties. We offer outstanding technical knowledge and project management skills, and are experts in managing field and laboratory studies, including GLP residue studies, analytical method development and physico-chemical property testing.
Job Description
Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
* Sub-sampling of test samples.
* Operation and maintenance of test equipment.
* Receipt and storage of test samples including logging in to the master schedule when required.
* Housekeeping, including daily laboratory cleaning and maintenance.
* Performing analyses as per instructions of the Laboratory Manager or SPCsin accordance with stipulated test procedures.
* Preparation of stock standard solutions.
Qualifications
* Candidates that have completed a Diploma or certificate in chemistry or equivalent will be preferred.
* Previous experience would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to the suitable candidate.
* Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel would be preferred
