Distribution Account Manager Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to drive business growth, develop strategic relationships, and contribute to a sustainable future. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily communications with partners, conducting regular reviews of forecast and order backlog, and coordinating marketing/promo/share gain campaigns.
* Manage daily communications with partners to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
* Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of forecast and order backlog with partners to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Gather and manage partner TAM and share data forecasts to ensure coverage and share capture goals are achieved.
* Coordinate marketing/promo/share gain campaigns with Marketing and Sales teams to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
* Drive customer/partner issue resolution in cooperation with Customer Services and Operations teams to ensure timely resolution and high-quality service.
* Liaise with Product Management to solicit partner feedback for product improvements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* 5-10 years sales experience preferably with experience managing wholesale distribution partners or OEMs in the solar industry.
* Proven successful experience working with independent dealer networks, wholesale distributors, and electrical wholesale distributors.
