Offer description

We are looking for a Test & Compliance Test Engineer to support New Product Development by ensuring our products meet performance, quality, and compliance standards. Working closely with Design Engineers and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in product testing, verification, and continuous improvement across our product portfolio.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys testing, problem-solving, and working across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as a Test & Compliance representative for New Product Development projects.
* Collaborate with Design Engineers to improve products through structured testing.
* Develop, execute, and document high-quality test plans (DVP&R).

Perform a range of tests including:

* Functional testing
* EMC testing
* Climatic and vibration testing
* Other compliance-driven tests as required

* Collect and maintain evidence to demonstrate product compliance.

* Contribute to defining compliance requirements for new and existing products.
* Follow laboratory processes supporting ISO 17025 / NATA accreditation.
* Support change management, lab improvements, and testing-as-a-service activities.
* Work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing.
* Support taking existing products into new global markets through testing and assessment.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the test and compliance function.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

* Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
* Understanding of engineering development and validation processes.
* Knowledge of electronic design principles.
* Ability to interpret and apply test standards.
* Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
* Good time management and organisational skills.

Desirable:

* Practical engineering experience (automotive or similar industries preferred).
* Basic understanding of electronic product compliance.
* Exposure to manufacturing processes.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
* Interest in systems engineering.
* Basic project management experience.
