Key Responsibilities:
The following outlines the key responsibilities of this role:
* Perform high-accuracy technical tasks according to drawings, procedures, specifications, and test instructions
* Prepare, set up, assemble, test, and integrate development and flight equipment, structures, and hardware
* Perform post-test operations and inspections to ensure flight-worthy hardware
* Utilize precision-calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers
* Develop novel ways to streamline processes and increase reliability
* Collaborate with engineers to develop and document activities
* Ensure all services are performed on time, safely, and professionally
* Operate and maintain hardware, high-pressure systems, pumps, and ancillary equipment including pneumatic components
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A Level 3 Trade qualification in Aerospace, Fitting, or similar trade
* 3+ years of experience ideally within the Aerospace, Manufacturing, Marine, or Automotive Industry
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
The following qualifications and skills would be beneficial:
* Experience working with complex mechanical systems, high-pressure fluid/pneumatic systems, or heavy equipment, preferably in the aerospace industry
* Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of temperature, pressure, and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines
