About the Opportunity
We are a global food supply chain company with a long-standing history and an expanding presence in Australia. With over 20 countries served and a leading premium brand in the APAC market, we are now rapidly growing across Australia. Our client's Melbourne-based office is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Mandarin Speaking office clerk - part time to support our client's business.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior admin or bookkeeping experience in the FMCG industry who is looking for a flexible, long-term part-time role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Administration
* Enter purchase orders, invoices, and credit notes in Xero
* Reconcile invoices and deposits with sales reports
* Coordinate with outsourced finance partner
* Perform inventory adjustments and assist with payment processing
2. General Admin Support
* Prepare and submit weekly stock reports
* Summarise and track payable invoices twice a month
3. Marketing Coordination
* Obtain and compare logistics quotations
* Liaise with event organisers and coordinate trade show samples
* Communicate with overseas factories (Asian country)
4. Office Operations
* Arrange office supplies and send samples to customers and sales reps
5. Logistics & Transport
* Communicate with third-party logistics providers and coordinate deliveries
6. Systems Support
* Input and maintain data in the CRM system
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:
* 1-2 years in administration or bookkeeping
* Familiarity with Xero (preferred)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong communication skills (oral and written)
* Food supply chain insudtry experience is a huge bonus
* Qualification in Bookkeeping (advantageous but not required)
* Mandarin language skills (spoken & written) required
