About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Traffic Survey Equipment Installer to join our QLD team on a casual basis, with potential for full-time opportunities. This hands-on role involves installing and maintaining traffic survey equipment (e.g., ATCs, video cameras, Bluetooth devices) at various roadside locations across Brisbane and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and configure roadside traffic survey equipment according to provided plans and maps.
* Conduct site checks to ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot any equipment issues.
* Replace or retrieve equipment as needed and collect survey data.
* Carry out quality assurance on recorded data (e.g., check for sun glare, weather impacts).
* Complete safety and QA documentation with precision.
* Report issues to the project team and collaborate as needed.
About You
* Comfortable working outdoors, including evenings and night shifts.
* Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
* Able to work independently and follow technical instructions.
* Physically fit and safety-conscious.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
Essential Requirements
* Current driver's license.
* White Card (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience with traffic equipment or data collection (desirable but not essential).
