Job Title: Geoscientist – Site-Based | 8:6 FIFO Roster
Location: Western Australia (FIFO from Perth)
Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off
Rate: $65–$85 per hour + super (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and proactive Geoscientist to join a leading mining operation in Western Australia. This site-based role is essential to maintaining Mine Geology outputs and ensuring accurate grade predictions that align with plant actuals.
You'll be part of a collaborative team that plays a critical role in enabling efficient ore extraction and reconciliation, contributing directly to operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate geological interpretations and models to support mine planning and production.
* Maintain grade control processes and ensure alignment between predicted and actual plant performance.
* Conduct fieldwork including mapping, sampling, and logging.
* Collaborate with mining and processing teams to optimise orebody knowledge and minimise dilution.
* Uphold safety and reporting standards while ensuring data integrity.
About You:
* Degree in Geology, Geoscience, or a related field.
* Prior experience in a site-based mining role (open pit or underground).
* Strong understanding of grade control, reconciliation, and geological modelling.
* Familiarity with geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Micromine).
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Safety-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
