Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized professional to join our team as an Administrative Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Forms ordering, supply, and maintenance, including barcode allocation for DMR.
* Release of Information requests processing in compliance with relevant privacy laws, policies, and procedures.
* Providing comprehensive administrative support, including telephone calls, taking messages, preparing correspondence, filing, assisting staff with forms supply, and other duties as directed by the Manager Health Information Services.
* Meeting coordination, scheduling, minutes preparation, agenda management, report preparation, and record management.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting in an administrative role, with high-level medical terminology and computer skills.
* Attention to detail, flexibility in priorities, ability to manage a high workload, and adaptability to change.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
* Discretion and confidentiality in maintaining patient information and adhering to NSW Health Privacy Principles.
* Computer proficiency and experience using health administration systems and Microsoft software.
