As our workload increases, we're seeking a proactive individual to join our QLD construction team.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Site preparation and demolition of existing infrastructure
· Setting out and installation of park and playspace equipment, infrastructure, surfacing (both organic and synthetic), concrete paths, edging and slabs, retaining walls and drainage systems
· General landscaping and final detail works
· Adhere to WHS requirements
· In addition, this role requires you to be able to travel from time to time (QLD and Northern NSW only).
IDEAL REQUIREMENTS
· Industry experience in hard and soft landscape construction and labouring or similar
· Proven experience working with laser levels and understanding contours of land (ideally)
· Proficient in reading and interpreting construction / site plans (ideally)
· Ability to place and finish concrete (ideally)
· Current white card or relevant construction card (blue card eligibility)
· Can-do attitude, coupled with a willingness to educate and learn
ADVANTAGEOUS ATTRIBUTES
· Trade qualifications
· Certificate III in Landscape Construction or higher
· Experience in timber construction
· Experience in rubber softfall or synthetic turf installation
· Excavator, Forklift and MR licences would be advantageous
You must be respectful, polite, have good communication skills, be reliable and punctual and able to work well within a team environment and independently.
