The Position
As a member of our Front Office team, the role starts with the warm welcoming of our guests, getting to know them and delivering on a truly bespoke experience throughout the guest's stay.
The Guest Service Agent's day to day activities will include:
* Delivering outstanding service to exceed guest needs and enhance guest satisfaction
* Check in and check out guests, and assist all inhouse guests with a positive and professional attitude.
* Assist with registration, communication systems monitoring, assisting with guest information and other special requests.
* Process and oversee the payments of guests accounts.
* Manage the daily activities associated with the hotels property management system - Opera
* Maintaining guest accounts, taking reservations and assisting with guest enquiries
* Handling and managing incoming guest telephone enquires.
* Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative and think outside the box when problem solving any guest concerns
* Maintain current information on all hotel services.
What we want in you:
As a self-motivated, driven and focused individual with a can do attitude you will also possess the following:
* Hotel experience and familiarity with Hotel Front Office procedures is preferred
* Experience with OPERA is preferred however not essential.
* Strong administrative skills with an attention to detail attitude.
* Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
* Have the ability to multi task and love to take on a challenge.
