Our organization is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychology services to vulnerable families within the Sustaining NSW Families program.
The Sustaining NSW Families program is a structured health home visiting program for children and families from pregnancy to 2 years of age. You will be responsible for providing complex psychosocial assessments and counseling to parents and families with infants experiencing psychosocial and mental health problems.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant tertiary qualifications, professional registration/membership as per the Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award, plus significant clinical experience in working with parents and families with infants experiencing complex parental psychosocial and mental health problems in the perinatal period.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications, professional registration/membership as per the Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award, plus significant clinical experience in working with parents and families with infants experiencing complex parental psychosocial and mental health problems in the perinatal period.
* Demonstrated advanced therapeutic skills in conducting complex psychosocial assessments and counseling with the ability to respond to the needs of vulnerable families (e.g. CALD) in stressful situations.
* Extensive clinical experience providing clinical consultation and facilitating case review, in the context of family centred casework within a community based multidisciplinary team.
